God will never cancel his promise to take care of us!<\/p>\n<p>Do not interpret the presence of problems as the absence of God. God has promised\u2026never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. He is with us, he is for us, and he offers us peace in the face of uncertainty and hope in exchange for heaviness.<\/p>\n<p>The question of this crisis is simply this: What is God saying to us? Among the answers must be this promise from Matthew 11:28, \u201c<strong>Come to me all of you who are weary and carrying heavy burdens and I will give you rest<\/strong>.\u201d Turn to Him today.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14013 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Mt11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Mt11.jpg 512w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Mt11-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>God\u2019s grace is greater<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One stumble does not define or break a person. Though you\u2019ve failed God\u2019s love does not. Face your failures with faith in God\u2019s goodness.\u00a0He tells you what He told Joshua: \u201cArise, go\u2026you and all this people, to the land which I am giving\u201d (Joshua 1:2).\u00a0There is no condition in that covenant. God\u2019s Promised Land offer does not depend on your perfection. It depends on His.<\/p>\n<p>In God\u2019s hands, no defeat is a crushing defeat. \u201cThe steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each step they take.\u00a0 If they fall, it isn\u2019t fatal, for the Lord holds them with His hand\u201d (Psalm 37:23-24).\u00a0Miss this truth and miss your new beginning.
