So, in this part of our discussion, we will strive to get under the skin of the fruit and delve into the pulp, we will see that each of the three fruit categories can be further divided into 3 sections and each section will in turn interconnect our relationship with God, with Others and with Ourselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Category 1 \u2013 Love, Joy and Peace<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18850 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"432\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-2.png 432w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-2-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-2-80x80.png 80w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-2-36x36.png 36w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-2-180x180.png 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 432px) 100vw, 432px\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Love:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>God\u2019s Love is connected directly to us<\/strong>. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:<br \/>\nWhile we were still sinners, Christ died for us.<br \/>\n<strong>God\u2019s Love is connected with Others<\/strong>. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.<br \/>\n<strong>Through love, we are to also be connected with others<\/strong>: 1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.<br \/>\n<strong>Love is also to be connected with ourselves<\/strong>: Proverbs 19:8 He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.<br \/>\nSo, as you can see, the Bible clearly shows an interconnection between God, Others and Ourselves<br \/>\nthrough love.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18855 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-80x80.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-80x80.gif 80w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-300x300.gif 300w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-36x36.gif 36w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-180x180.gif 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Joy:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>God\u2019s joy is connected directly to us<\/strong>: John 15:11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.<br \/>\nNehemiah 8:10 states, \u201c&#8230; Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>God\u2019s joy is connected with others<\/strong>: John 17:13 \u201cI am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.<br \/>\nThe Joy that is given to us from God is also connected directly to oneself: John 16:24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.<br \/>\nRomans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,<br \/>\n<strong>Peace with others:<\/strong> Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.<br \/>\n<strong>Peace within<\/strong>: Romans 8:6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.<br \/>\n<strong>Peace combined<\/strong>: 2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Category 2 \u2013 Patience, Kindness and Goodness<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18851 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-3-e1637795784678.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Patience:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>God\u2019s Patience with us<\/strong>: 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some<br \/>\nunderstand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone<br \/>\nto come to repentance.<br \/>\n<strong>Patience with Others<\/strong>: 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season;<br \/>\ncorrect, rebuke and encourage\u2014with great patience and careful instruction.<br \/>\nProverbs 16:32 Better a patient person than a warrior,&#8230;<br \/>\nProverbs 15:18 A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict,<br \/>\nbut the one who is patient calms a quarrel.<br \/>\n<strong>Patience with Ourselves<\/strong>: James 5:8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord\u2019s coming is<br \/>\nnear.<br \/>\nRomans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18856 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-80x80.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-80x80.gif 80w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-300x300.gif 300w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-36x36.gif 36w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-180x180.gif 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kindness:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relation With God<\/strong>: Ephesians 2:6-7 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the<br \/>\nheavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the<br \/>\nincomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.<br \/>\n<strong>Relation With Others:<\/strong> Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each<br \/>\nother, just as in Christ God forgave you.<br \/>\n<strong>Relation With yourself<\/strong>: Proverbs 16:23 Those who are kind benefit themselves,<br \/>\nbut the cruel bring ruin on themselves.<br \/>\nInterconnection with love: 1 Corinthians 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18856 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-80x80.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-80x80.gif 80w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-300x300.gif 300w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-36x36.gif 36w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-3-180x180.gif 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Goodness:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with God<\/strong>: Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good,<br \/>\na refuge in times of trouble.<br \/>\nHe cares for those who trust in him.<br \/>\nPsalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD and do good;<br \/>\ndwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.<br \/>\n1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;<br \/>\nhis love endures forever.<br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with Others<\/strong>: Psalm 34:14 Turn from evil and do good;<br \/>\nseek peace and pursue it.<br \/>\nGalatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to<br \/>\nthose who belong to the family of believers.<br \/>\n1 Peter 3:13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?<br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with Ourselves<\/strong>: Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.<br \/>\nAnd what does the LORD require of you?<br \/>\nTo act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly\u00a0 with your God.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Category 3: Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18852 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-4.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/hsfruit-4-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Faithfulness:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with God<\/strong>: Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the<br \/>\nfaithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and<br \/>\nkeep his commandments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Relationship with Others<\/strong>: Proverbs 28:20 A faithful person will be richly blessed,<br \/>\nbut one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.<br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with Ourselves<\/strong>: Luke 16:10 (KJV) He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in<br \/>\nmuch: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18855 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-80x80.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-80x80.gif 80w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-300x300.gif 300w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-36x36.gif 36w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-180x180.gif 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gentleness:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with God<\/strong>: James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable,<br \/>\ngentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without<br \/>\nhypocrisy<br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with Others<\/strong>: 1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared<br \/>\nto give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But<br \/>\ndo this with gentleness and respect,<br \/>\nGalatians 5:23 Gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.<br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with Ourselves<\/strong>: Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God\u2019s chosen people, holy and dearly<br \/>\nloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18855 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-80x80.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"80\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-80x80.gif 80w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-300x300.gif 300w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-36x36.gif 36w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/star-4-180x180.gif 180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Self-Control:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with God<\/strong>: Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all\u00a0people. 12 It teaches us to say \u201cNo\u201d to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self- controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,<\/p>\n<p><strong>Relationship with Others<\/strong>: 1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual<br \/>\nconsent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again<br \/>\nso that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.<br \/>\n<strong>Relationship with Ourselves<\/strong>: Proverbs 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.<\/p>\n<p>1 Peter 4:7 (ESV) The end of all things is at hand; therefore, be self-controlled and sober- minded for the sake of your prayers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18859 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/fruit-of-the-spirit-e1637797709733.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nAs you can see, Part two is like going beneath the skin of the fruit and looking at the pulp. As a result, I\u00a0 have found that each of the 3 fruit flavor categories has been further divided into 3 sections: Relationship with God, Relationship with Others, and Relationship with ourselves.
