\u201cThe Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/b>(Psalm 100:5 TLB).<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If you grew up in a Christian home, you may have learned this childhood prayer: \u201cGod is great. God is good. Let us thank him for our food. Amen.\u201d While simplistic, that prayer covers one key characteristic of God: his goodness.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Is it really true that God is good all the time? Absolutely\u2014but many people don\u2019t live like they believe it. It can be hard to believe in God\u2019s goodness for many reasons, including when we\u2019re in pain. We forget it when we\u2019re in conflict. We think it\u2019s for everyone else except us when we\u2019re depressed. And when we\u2019re worried or stressed out, we can\u2019t seem to find\u2014much less think about\u2014God\u2019s goodness, even when it\u2019s right in front of us.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

So how can we trust in God\u2019s goodness when we don\u2019t feel it? His Word reminds us of his goodness over and over:\u00a0<\/span>\u201cThe Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation\u201d\u00a0<\/i>(Psalm 100:5 TLB).<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Focusing on God\u2019s goodness is so important to your life because it gives you perspective on your darkest days, when you need it the most. When you forget God\u2019s goodness, it causes all kinds of difficulties.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God wants to give you a life of confidence, even on your most difficult days. He wants to give you assurance. He wants to protect you. He wants to give you a life of influence and abundance. He wants to give you a life filled with generosity. Who doesn\u2019t want that? Who doesn\u2019t need that?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When you believe and understand the goodness of God, it will revolutionize your life and your relationships. You won\u2019t be the same!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
