There Is One Name<\/h1>\n

Son of God<\/em>, the\u00a0Lamb of God<\/em>, the\u00a0Resurrection and the Life<\/em>,\u00a0Alpha and Omega<\/em>.\u00a0Phrases that stretch the boundaries of human language in an effort to capture the uncapturable: the grandeur of God.\u00a0They always fall short.\u00a0Hearing them is somewhat like hearing a Salvation Army Christmas band on the street corner playing \u201cHandel\u2019s Messiah.\u201d\u00a0No names do God justice.<\/p>\n

But there is one name.\u00a0Jesus.<\/em>\u00a0A name so typical, if he were here today, his name might be John or Bob or Jim.\u00a0He was touchable, approachable, reachable.\u00a0\u201cJust call me Jesus,\u201d you can almost hear him say. And those who walked with him remembered him not with a title or designation, but with a name\u2014Jesus!\u00a0It\u2019s a beautiful name and a powerful name.\u00a0The day is coming when at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s What Love Does<\/h1>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Would you do what Jesus did? He exchanged the worship of angels for the company of killers.\u00a0If you were God, would you? I wouldn\u2019t, but Christ did.<\/p>\n

Jesus humbled himself.\u00a0He went from commanding angels to sleeping in the straw. Why? Because that is what love does.\u00a0It puts the loved before itself.\u00a0Your place in heaven was more important to him than his place in heaven, so he gave up his so you could have yours.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time to let his love cover all the things in your life.\u00a0Every promise broken, every cross word, and harsh word.\u00a0His love covers all things.\u00a0Let it.\u00a0Do it for his sake, for the peace of your heart. Do it for their sake, for the people in your life.\u00a0Let his love fall on you so yours can fall on them.<\/p>\n
