\n9\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Jericho, one the king of Ai (near Bethel), one
\n10\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Jerusalem, one the king of Hebron, one
\n11\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Jarmuth, one the king of Lachish, one
\n12\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Eglon, one the king of Gezer, one
\n13\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Debir, one the king of Geder, one
\n14\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Hormah, one the king of Arad, one
\n15\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the king of Libnah, one the king of Adullam, one

On verses 9-24:\u00a0\u00a0What can we learn from this list of 31 kings that Joshua and the Israelites defeated?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0As I look at this list of conquered kings, I am reminded\u00a0that\u00a0we all have certain kings to conquer in our lives<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0Maybe it\u2019s a king called worry, a king called laziness, a king called pride, or self-centeredness? Maybe it\u2019s the king of negativity and complaining? Maybe it\u2019s the king of jealousy or bitterness?\u00a0\u00a0Which king poses the biggest threat to you at this time?<\/p>\n

May you go into today knowing that\u00a0by faith in the greatest king of all, Jesus Christ, you have everything you need to defeat the other kings in your life<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0Like Joshua, as you trust in God, may you find yourself over the long haul conquering those kings more and more.\u00a0\u00a0For in Jesus Christ you are more than a conqueror. Believe that as you go into today.<\/p>\n

Lord Jesus, You are the king of all kings, the lord of all lords, the name above every name.\u00a0\u00a0You have no rival and all things have been placed under Your feet.\u00a0\u00a0Thank You that the king called\u00a0[insert your biggest struggle here:] ________\u00a0<\/strong>is nothing compared to You.\u00a0\u00a0Thank You that through faith in You I will overcome that king one day.\u00a0\u00a0Let today be the day.\u00a0\u00a0In Jesus\u2019 name, AMEN!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
