There she will sing as in the days of he youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>By the way, valley of Achor means valley of trouble.\u00a0 God can turn your valley of trouble into a door of hope.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love for you is intimate, close and based on a promise. \u00a0<\/strong>It&#8217;s not like\u00a0a master-servant relationship which is colder, more distant and based on a contract.\u00a0 We see that same love when Jesus tells his disciples, &#8220;I no longer call you servants, because a servant does know his master&#8217;s business.\u00a0 Instead, I have called you friends, for everything I learned from my Father I have made known to you.&#8221; (John\u00a015:15)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea\u00a02:16\u00a0(NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">16\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>&#8220;In that day,&#8221; declares the LORD, &#8220;you will call me &#8216;my husband&#8217;; you will no longer call me &#8216;my master.&#8217;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love purifies and makes us holy. \u00a0<\/strong>God took idol worshippers like us and made us holy priests in His kingdom.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea\u00a02:17\u00a0(NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">17\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love protects. \u00a0<\/strong>God is committed to keeping you from all harm, watching over your life (Psalm 121:7).<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea\u00a02:18\u00a0(NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">18\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love for you is forever.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea 2:19a (NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">19\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>I will betroth you to me forever&#8230;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love for you is righteous and just. \u00a0<\/strong>God&#8217;s love for you does not delight in evil, but is full of righteousness and justice.\u00a0 The cross where Jesus died is the perfect intersection where God&#8217;s righteousness and justice met God&#8217;s love and compassion.\u00a0 At the cross, God in His righteousness and justice punished our sin and at the same cross God extended the greatest love and compassion the world has ever known.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea 2:19b (NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">19\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>&#8230;I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love is faithful. \u00a0<\/strong>You can always count on God&#8217;s love for you.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea\u00a02:20\u00a0(NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">20\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love is responsive. \u00a0<\/strong>God is sensitive to your needs and to your call.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea 2:21a (NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">21\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>&#8220;In that day I will respond,&#8221; declares the LORD&#8211; &#8220;I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>10. \u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love brings you life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea 2:21-22 (NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">21\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>&#8220;In that day I will respond,&#8221; declares the LORD&#8211; &#8220;I will respond to the skies, and they will respond to the earth;<br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">22\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and oil, and they will respond to Jezreel.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>11. \u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love for you is personal. \u00a0<\/strong>You&#8217;ve been chosen by God.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea 2:23a (NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>I will plant her for myself in the land&#8230;;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>12. \u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s love is redemptive and forgiving. \u00a0<\/strong>He&#8217;s the God of second chances.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Hosea 2:23b (NIV)\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup><span style=\"color: #000000;\">23\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>&#8230;I will show my love to the one I called &#8216;Not my loved one.&#8217; I will say to those called &#8216;Not my people,&#8217; &#8216;You are my people&#8217;; and they will say, &#8216;You are my God.'&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect and amazing love for me.\u00a0 In Jesus&#8217; name, AMEN!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi GAMErs,<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s passage is Hosea 2:14-23.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s go!<\/p>\n<p>On verses 14-23: \u00a0After describing in previous verses how God wanted to punish Israel for their unfaithfulness to Him, Hosea now goes on to describe the amazing, forgiving, second-chance-giving love that God extends to Israel.\u00a0 From these verses we can learn 12 ways that God loves you and me.<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0God&#8217;s love takes initiative.
