Tell the Israelites to move on.<br \/>\n16 \u00a0Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.<br \/>\n17 \u00a0I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen.<br \/>\n18 \u00a0The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.&#8221;<br \/>\n19 \u00a0Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel&#8217;s army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them,<br \/>\n20 \u00a0coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.<br \/>\n21 \u00a0Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,<br \/>\n22 \u00a0and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 15-22: \u00a0In arguably the most incredible scene in all the Old Testament, God parts the seas so that the Israelites can walk right through to safety on the other side, with a wall of water on their right and left. \u00a0Get ready for THRIVE Church online today (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thrivechurch.ca\/online\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.thrivechurch.ca\/online&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641250620554000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3gYdAouzRs9lPgPoP5Ab7s\">www.thrivechurch.ca\/online<\/a>) as we take a close look at this passage together. \u00a0You don\u2019t want to miss this powerful message!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Exodus 14:23-31 (NIV)<\/strong><br \/>\n23 \u00a0The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh&#8217;s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea.<br \/>\n24 \u00a0During the last watch of the night the LORD looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion.<br \/>\n25 \u00a0He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, &#8220;Let&#8217;s get away from the Israelites! The LORD is fighting for them against Egypt.&#8221;<br \/>\n26 \u00a0Then the LORD said to Moses, &#8220;Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.&#8221;<br \/>\n27 \u00a0Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the LORD swept them into the sea.<br \/>\n28 \u00a0The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen&#8211;the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.<br \/>\n29 \u00a0But the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.<br \/>\n30 \u00a0That day the LORD saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore.<br \/>\n31 \u00a0And when the Israelites saw the great power the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 23-31: \u00a0When the Egyptian army follows the Israelites into the parted Red Sea, God causes the water to flow back in and cover Egyptian army, killing them all.<\/p>\n<p>What God did for the Israelites crossing the Red Sea points toward what God would later do for us. \u00a0Like a vast and deep ocean, our sins separated us from God and heaven. On our own we would drown in that ocean if we tried to cross it. But through Christ\u2019s death on the cross for our sins and His resurrection from death, God made a way for us to cross safely to the other side without drowning.<\/p>\n<p>Both at the Red Sea where parting waters flowed and at the blood red cross where Jesus&#8217; blood flowed, God proved that nothing is impossible with Him, that He protects those who trust in Him, and that we needn&#8217;t worry or panic about the future, because God in His power will find a way to keep you safe.<\/p>\n<p>Like the Israelites in verse 31, let&#8217;s worship the LORD and put our trust in the One who saved us.<\/p>\n<p><em>Heavenly Father, thank You that though my sins were as a deep as the Red Sea and separated me from You, You made a way for me to cross over. \u00a0It wasn\u2019t because of anything I had done. \u00a0I am saved all because of the power of Your love. \u00a0Thank You. \u00a0Thank You that with You nothing is impossible. \u00a0In Jesus\u2019 name, AMEN!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi GAMErs!<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s passage is Exodus 14:15-31. \u00a0Let\u2019s go!<\/p>\n<p>Exodus 14:15-22 (NIV)<br \/>\n15 \u00a0Then the LORD said to Moses, &#8220;Why are you crying out to me?
