'><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Exodus 39:22-43<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Exodus+39%3A22-43&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here for Bible Verses<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20450 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/22-0302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/22-0302.png 600w, https:\/\/ocbf.ca\/2019\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/22-0302-300x150.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Hi GAMErs!<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s passage is Exodus 39:22-43.\u00a0 Let\u2019s go!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Exodus 39:22-31 (NIV)<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup>22\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0They made the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth&#8211;the work of a weaver&#8211;<br \/>\n<sup>23\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0with an opening in the center of the robe like the opening of a collar, and a band around this opening, so that it would not tear.<br \/>\n<sup>24\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0They made pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen around the hem of the robe.<br \/>\n<sup>25\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0And they made bells of pure gold and attached them around the hem between the pomegranates.<br \/>\n<sup>26\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0The bells and pomegranates alternated around the hem of the robe to be worn for ministering, as the\u00a0LORD\u00a0commanded Moses.<br \/>\n<sup>27\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0For Aaron and his sons, they made tunics of fine linen&#8211;the work of a weaver&#8211;<br \/>\n<sup>28\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0and the turban of fine linen, the linen headbands and the undergarments of finely twisted linen.<br \/>\n<sup>29\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0The sash was of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn&#8211;the work of an embroiderer&#8211;as the\u00a0LORD\u00a0commanded Moses.<br \/>\n<sup>30\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0They made the plate, the sacred diadem, out of pure gold and engraved on it, like an inscription on a seal: HOLY TO THE\u00a0LORD.<br \/>\n<sup>31\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Then they fastened a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban, as the\u00a0LORD\u00a0commanded Moses.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 22-31:\u00a0 As we saw with so many of the priestly clothes described in verses 1-21, notice that Aaron\u2019s robe, tunic, and turban were made of fine material, done by a craftsman, and adorned with gold.\u00a0 It all speaks of how highly God valued the office of the priest.\u00a0 Since as believers in Jesus Christ, we too are priests in God\u2019s kingdom, let it be a reminder not to take our role as priests lightly or for granted.\u00a0 May we approach our calling as priests with reverence and respect, and give God service that is of high quality and high value too.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Exodus 39:32-43 (NIV)<\/strong><br \/>\n<sup>32\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0So all the work on the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, was completed.\u00a0<u>The Israelites did everything just as the\u00a0LORD\u00a0commanded Moses<\/u>.<br \/>\n<sup>33\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses: the tent and all its furnishings, its clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases;<br \/>\n<sup>34\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the covering of ram skins dyed red, the covering of hides of sea cows and the shielding curtain;<br \/>\n<sup>35\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the ark of the Testimony with its poles and the atonement cover;<br \/>\n<sup>36\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the table with all its articles and the bread of the Presence;<br \/>\n<sup>37\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the pure gold lampstand with its row of lamps and all its accessories, and the oil for the light;<br \/>\n<sup>38\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the gold altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the entrance to the tent;<br \/>\n<sup>39\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the bronze altar with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils; the basin with its stand;<br \/>\n<sup>40\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard; the ropes and tent pegs for the courtyard; all the furnishings for the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting;<br \/>\n<sup>41\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0and the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary, both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.<br \/>\n<sup>42\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0<u>The Israelites had done all the work just as the\u00a0LORD\u00a0had commanded Moses<\/u>.<br \/>\n<sup>43\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Moses inspected the work and saw that\u00a0<u>they had done it just as the\u00a0LORD\u00a0had commanded<\/u>. So Moses blessed them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 32-43:\u00a0 Three times we are told that the Israelites did all the work for the tabernacle \u201cjust as the LORD commanded Moses\u201d (v32, 42, 43).\u00a0 In other words, in every aspect and in every detail, the Israelites tried to do what they understood to be God\u2019s instructions through Moses. So Moses blessed them.<\/p>\n<p>May you and I as well choose a similar attitude when it comes to obeying the LORD\u2019s commands.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>May we go the whole way in obeying the LORD, not just part way.\u00a0 For in that there is blessing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let these verses also be a reminder that\u00a0<strong>when we failed to obey the LORD in every way, Jesus the Son of God lived life just as the LORD had commanded<\/strong>.\u00a0 That is why He is able to intercede for us and to be our Saviour, bringing the gap that separated us and God and securing for us the blessings, the forgiveness, the acceptance, the righteousness, the adoption into God\u2019s family and the eternal life that Jesus won with His obedience.<\/p>\n<p><em>Father, I pray that I would obey You completely and not just partially.\u00a0 Thank You Jesus that whereas I failed and still fail miserably from time to time, You obeyed Your Father perfectly and it is because of Your perfect obedience that I am blessed, forgiven, accepted, righteous, adopted and forever a child of God, a citizen of heaven and a priest in Your kingdom.\u00a0 May I never take for granted the calling and privilege You gave me to be a priest in Your kingdom, but may I wear that calling honourably and humbly, giving You glory with my life.\u00a0 In Jesus\u2019 name,
