Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.<br \/>\n<sup>2\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The\u00a0LORD, the\u00a0LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.&#8221;<br \/>\n<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.<br \/>\n<sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0In that day you will say: &#8220;Give thanks to the\u00a0LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.<br \/>\n<sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Sing to the\u00a0LORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.<br \/>\n<sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 1-6:\u00a0 Here is Isaiah painting a beautiful picture of what will happen in the end. \u201cIn that day\u201d (v1, 4) when the Messiah comes to reign, it will be a time when the people of God sing of how good God is, how God\u2019s anger turned away and God\u2019s comfort came (v1), how their fears were overcome by trusting in God (v2), and how God became their salvation, strength and song (v2-3).\u00a0 Instead of complaining or taking for granted God\u2019s goodness, God\u2019s people will give thanks to God and want to make Him known everywhere (v4-5), especially through shouts and joyful singing (v6).<\/p>\n<p>When we see Isaiah 12 as the continuation of Isaiah 11, we see that when the Messiah comes, He will usher in a time of justice (11:3-5), peace (11:6-9), unity, power (11:10-16) and praise (12:1-6).<\/p>\n<p>But you and I don\u2019t need to wait until that last day to say and do the things described in this passage.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Because Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, because He rescued us from what bound us, you can make verses 1-6 your song and mission today.\u00a0 And when you do, God\u2019s joy, peace, purpose and power become real in your life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Thank You Jesus that because You died for us and rose again, God\u2019s anger has turned away and God\u2019s comfort remains.\u00a0 Thank You that You are now my salvation, strength and song.\u00a0 May we live to make You known among the nations as the One who is high and exalted.\u00a0 In Jesus\u2019 name, AMEN!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi GAMErs!<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s passage is Isaiah 12:1-6.<\/p>\n<p>Isaiah 12:1-6 (NIV)<br \/>\n1\u00a0\u00a0In that day you will say: &#8220;I will praise you, O\u00a0LORD.
