Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there will it lie.<br \/>\n<sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 3-4:\u00a0 You can\u2019t control the wind or the rain.\u00a0 You can\u2019t control what direction a tree falls.\u00a0 If you just worry about what\u2019s not in your control (i.e. watching the wind or looking at the clouds), you\u2019re not going to gain anything.<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>So instead of worrying about what\u2019s not in your control, do something with what is in your control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecclesiastes 11:5-6 (NIV)<\/strong><br \/>\n<em><sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother&#8217;s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.<br \/>\n<sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On verses 5-6:\u00a0 There is much that we don\u2019t know and much that we can\u2019t control (v5).\u00a0\u00a0 But with what is in our control, let\u2019s do our best, work hard and believe that with God\u2019s help we will bear fruit.<\/p>\n<p><em>Father, there is much I can\u2019t control, so I leave that all to You.\u00a0 And with what is in my control, I pray for wisdom to know how to do the best I can with it.\u00a0 Thank You that You are with me and You are greater than the wind and the clouds.\u00a0 In Jesus\u2019 name, AMEN!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Copyright \u00a9 2021 Justin Lim.
