2 Samuel 22:31-37 (NIV)<\/strong>
\n31\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0“As for God, his way is perfect;\u00a0the word of the\u00a0LORD\u00a0is flawless.\u00a0He is a shield\u00a0for all who take refuge in him.
\n32\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0For who is God besides the\u00a0LORD?\u00a0And who is the Rock except our God?
\n33\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0It is God who arms me with strength\u00a0and makes my way perfect.
\n34\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;\u00a0he enables me to stand on the heights.
\n35\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0He trains my hands for battle;\u00a0my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
\n36\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0You give me your shield of victory;\u00a0you stoop down to make me great.
\n37\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0You broaden the path beneath me,\u00a0so that my ankles do not turn.<\/em><\/p>\n

On verses\u00a031-37: \u00a0In verses 1 to 7 we learned that the Lord is our rock.
\nIn verses 8 to 20 we learned that He is our rescuer.
\nIn verses 21 to 28 we learned that He is our righteousness.
\nIn verse 29 we learned that He is our light.
\nNow in verses 30-43 we learn that the Lord is our strength.<\/p>\n

These are some of my favourite verses in the Bible.\u00a0 I encourage you to memorize verses\u00a031-37.\u00a0 Whenever I am facing a challenge, the Holy Spirit will often remind me of these verses.\u00a0 We can do all things through Him.<\/p>\n

2 Samuel 22:38-43 (NIV)<\/strong>
\n38\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0“I pursued my enemies and crushed them;\u00a0I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
\n39\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0I crushed them completely, and they could not rise;\u00a0they fell beneath my feet.
\n40\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0You armed me with strength for battle;\u00a0you made my adversaries bow at my feet.
\n41\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0You made my enemies turn their backs in flight,\u00a0and I destroyed my foes.
\n42\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0They cried for help, but there was no one to save them–\u00a0to the\u00a0LORD, but he did not answer.
\n43\u00a0<\/sup>\u00a0I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth;\u00a0I pounded and trampled them like mud in the streets.<\/em><\/p>\n

On verses 38-43: \u00a0Because God is our strength, we do not need to fear our enemy, Satan.\u00a0 At the cross and at His resurrection, Jesus defeated Satan.\u00a0 Now as children of God, we have been given all authority to stand up against him too.\u00a0 So never give into Satan’s lie that you can’t beat him.\u00a0 The fact is: Satan is already beaten, and you have everything you need to live in complete victory over him today.\u00a0 If you find that Satan is bothering you or your family, you can boldly proclaim, “Satan, in Jesus’ name, I command you to get away from me and my family right now.\u00a0 I proclaim that you are defeated and in this instant you are to release any hold you have on me and my family. In Jesus’ name.”<\/p>\n

When it comes to Jesus, surrender to Him; and when it comes to Satan, take no prisoners and trample him in the name of Jesus.<\/p>\n

In your prayer time today, recite verses\u00a0<\/em>31<\/em>-38 out loud and make them your own prayer.<\/em><\/p>\n
