Self-help gurus and magazine headlines urge you to \u201cfind your narrative.\u201d \u201cLook inside yourself,\u201d they say. But the promise of self-discovery falls short.<\/p>\n<p>Your story indwells God\u2019s. This is the great promise of the Bible. \u201c<strong>It\u2019s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.<\/strong> Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone\u201d (Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG).
