In other words, to take matters into your own hands. If Satan convinces us to trust our works over God\u2019s word, he has us dangling from a broken limb.<\/p>\n<p>Do what Jesus did. In Satan\u2019s temptation of Jesus, three times Jesus repeated, \u201cIt is written\u2026\u201d \u201cIt also is written\u2026\u201d \u201cIt is written\u2026\u201d God\u2019s book was enough.\u00a0Jesus overcame temptation, not with special voices or supernatural signs, but by remembering and quoting Scripture. Do the same.
