God not only wants the mistakes we\u2019ve made\u2014He wants the ones we\u2019re making. Are you drinking too much?\u00a0 Are you cheating at work or cheating at marriage?\u00a0 Mismanaging your life?<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t pretend nothing\u2019s wrong. The first step after a stumble must be in the direction of the cross. 1 John 1:9 promises, \u201cIf we confess our sins to God, He can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Start with your bad moments. And while you\u2019re there, give God your \u201cmad\u201d moments. There\u2019s a story about a man bitten by a dog. When he learned the dog had rabies, he began a list. The doctor said, \u201cThere\u2019s no need for you to make a will\u2014you\u2019ll be fine.\u201d \u201cOh, I\u2019m not making a will\u201d he said, \u201cI\u2019m making a list of all the people I want to bite!\u201d God wants that list!\u00a0 He wants you to leave it at the cross.<\/p>\n
