God\u2019s grace. It has a wildness about it. A white-water, rip-tide, turn-you-upside-downness about it. Grace comes after you.<\/p>\n

Some years ago I underwent a heart procedure. I asked the surgeon, \u201cYou\u2019re burning the interior of my heart, right?\u201d \u201cCorrect.\u201d \u201cYou intend to kill the misbehaving cells, yes?\u201d \u201cThat\u2019s my plan.\u201d \u201cCould you take your little blowtorch to some of my greed, selfishness, superiority, and guilt?\u201d He smiled, \u201cSorry, that\u2019s out of my pay grade.\u201d But it\u2019s not out of God\u2019s, my friend.<\/p>\n

We\u2019d be wrong to think this change happens overnight. But we\u2019d be equally wrong to assume change never happens at all. It may come in fits and spurts\u2014but it comes! Titus 2:11 (NKJV) says, \u201cThe grace of God that brings salvation has appeared.\u201d The floodgates are opened, the water is out. You just never know when grace will seep in.<\/p>\n
