A hypocrite. A pretender. Two-faced. I\u2019d written sermons about people like me. Christians who care more about their appearance than integrity.<\/p>\n<p>I knew what I needed to do.\u00a0 I\u2019d written sermons about that, too. 1 John 1:8-9 says, \u201c<strong>If we say we have no sin, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth is not in us.\u00a0 But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right<\/strong>.\u201d \u00a0I needed to confess.<\/p>\n<p>What is confession? Well, confession is not complaining. If I just recite my problems and rehash my woes, I\u2019m whining. Confession is a radical reliance upon grace. Maybe you need to do what I\u2019ve done in the last few days. You just need to confess. God will hear your confession.\u00a0 And in your confession you will find a wonder of God\u2019s grace. You see grace creates an honest confession.
