Not so with God\u2019s love. He loves you right where you are, but he refuses to leave you that way. And so he cleanses us of filth:\u00a0 immorality, dishonesty, prejudice, bitterness, greed. He wants us to be just like Jesus. Isn\u2019t that good news? You aren\u2019t stuck with today\u2019s personality. You are tweakable!<\/p>\n<p>Where did we get the idea we cannot change? Why do we say things such as, \u201cIt\u2019s my nature to worry,\u201d or \u201cI\u2019ll always be pessimistic; I\u2019m just that way,\u201d or, \u201cI have a bad temper; I can\u2019t help the way I react.\u201d Who says? If our bodies malfunction, we seek help. Shouldn\u2019t we do the same for our hearts? Can\u2019t we seek aid for our sour attitudes? Of course we can! Jesus wants to change our hearts.
