The Scripture says,\u00a0\u201cSince we have such a great high priest [Jesus] over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith\u201d\u00a0(Hebrews 10:21-22).<\/p>\n<p>Some people say, \u201cPrayer changes things because it changes us.\u201d\u00a0I agree, but only in part.\u00a0Prayer changes things because prayer appeals to the top power in the universe.\u00a0It is the\u00a0<em>yes<\/em>\u00a0to God\u2019s invitation to invoke his name.
