Before<\/i>\u00a0amen\u2014comes the power of a simple prayer! \u00a0Jesus set a compelling prayer example.\u00a0He prayed before He ate.\u00a0 He prayed for children.\u00a0 He prayed for the sick.\u00a0 He prayed with thanks.\u00a0 With tears.\u00a0He had made the planets and shaped the stars, yet He prayed.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a prayer for us today! \u201cFather, you\u2019ve made me your child through your Spirit. In your kindness you have adopted me and delivered me from sin and death. Remind me today what it means to be your child.\u00a0 It\u2019s so easy for me to live every day on my own terms.\u00a0Help me live it in light of your grace.\u00a0\u00a0Thank you for accepting me as I am but not leaving me the same.\u00a0 In Jesus\u2019 name, amen.\u201d<\/p>\n
