Psalm 34:8 says, \u201cTaste and see that the Lord is good.\u201d A glimpse of God\u2019s goodness changes us. If He is only slightly stronger than us, why pray? \u00a0If He has limitations, questions, and hesitations, then you might as well pray to the Wizard of Oz.<\/p>\n

Psalm 68:5-6 says that God is \u201ca father to the fatherless.\u00a0 He sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pray with me! \u201cDear God. Remind me today that you protect me. \u00a0Be my father and defender.\u00a0 Defend those who are weak and afraid and feel forgotten.\u00a0 Show up in their lives today. Thank you for giving me a spiritual family that can never be taken away.\u00a0 I pray this in Jesus\u2019 name, amen.\u201d<\/p>\n
