Young Hoon Kim, who describes himself as a world-record IQ holder, has shared a deeply personal testimony about moving from atheism and despair to faith in Jesus Christ.

Kim said there was a period in his life when he experienced profound hopelessness and attempted to take his own life.
“I was once an atheist, and it eventually led me to a suicide attempt,” he wrote.
Kim says his life took a different direction after turning toward Christianity.
“Then I found Jesus Christ. I found truth. I found hope. I found a reason to live.”
According to his testimony, Christianity became more than an intellectual conclusion. His relationship with Christ gave him a renewed sense of hope and purpose during a deeply difficult period of his life.
Today, Kim says one conviction stands above everything else he has learned or accomplished: “Jesus Christ is Lord.”
Sharing a photograph with his son, Kim described himself as “walking in His grace.”
For Christians, his testimony carries a powerful reminder that accomplishments, knowledge, and recognition cannot replace the hope and purpose found in Christ.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
John 8:12 “Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Kim’s account is his personal testimony of a journey through an extremely dark period and toward renewed hope.
His message today is simple:
“I found Jesus Christ. I found truth. I found hope. I found a reason to live.”
