A scientist came to the church seeking faith, eager to contribute his expertise to the nation.
After becoming a U.S. citizen, he experienced a crisis of national identity, repeatedly expressing his confusion and sense of loss in our conversation.
I told him: Your fingerprints are the earliest form of identification card God gave you at birth; worldly kingdoms are temporary, subject to change… only God’s Kingdom remains unchanged, “From everlasting to everlasting.”
Psalm 90:2: “Before the mountains came together, before you formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” His eternal Kingdom is our lifelong《Home》. We must find our identity, role, and responsibility in the eternal Kingdom within the church—the House of Christ.
After his baptism, he became a role model in his work and church service. Many Christians in North American immigrant churches have had similar experiences.
This is the background and reason behind my creation of this painting titled “A Unique ID”…
