Heavenly Father, we don’t want this day of thanksgiving to end without taking a moment to reflect and focus on who you are. Let’s pray:
“Dear God, I want to start every day with gratitude. Everything I have is a gift from you and I don’t express that gratitude often enough. Help me to be grateful.
Thank you for who you are. Thank you for being good, holy, and just. Thank you for your kindness, forgiveness, love, and mercy. Thank you for being perfect in every way.
I want to thank you for what you’ve already done in my life.

You made me.
You saved me.

You answer my prayers.
You give me guidance.
You even came and died on the cross to pay for all my sins. Thank you.

And thank you for all that you’ve promised. For promising life after death. For meeting all my needs. For never leaving or abandoning me. Thank you.
I want to live my life with an attitude of gratitude. I want to sing to you. I want to pray to you. I want to tell others about you. I want to give generously back to you. I want to serve you. I want to live each day as a thank you gift. I want to trust you and love you.
And I humbly say this with great gratitude. Amen”
