A Chinese scientist who once identified as an atheist says his study of the human eye led him to an unexpected conclusion: belief in God. After years of researching biology and anatomy through a strictly material lens, he found the complexity and precision of the eye impossible to explain by chance alone.

“The more I studied the eye, the more my atheism began to crumble,” he said. “Its structure, its ability to convert light into vision, and the way every part works together felt far beyond random evolution.”
He explained that the eye’s intricate design—millions of photoreceptor cells, instant signal transmission to the brain, and flawless coordination—forced him to reconsider his worldview. “I realized that science explains how things work, but not why they exist,” he shared. “At some point, intelligence demands an intelligent source.”
That realization eventually led him to read the Bible and explore Christianity, where he says he found answers science alone could not provide. “For the first time, faith and reason were not enemies,” he said. “In Christ, I found truth that satisfied both my mind and my soul.”
His story is now being shared as a reminder that scientific discovery does not eliminate God—but can sometimes be the very path that leads to Him.
