Leviticus 24:10-23 (NIV)
10  Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites, and a fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite.
11  The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with a curse; so they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri the Danite.)

On verses 10-23:  Leviticus 24:10-23 describes how Moses dealt with a half-Israelite, half-Egyptian man who had been found “blaspheming the name of God” (that is, misusing God’s name and speaking about God’s name in ways that were untrue and irreverent).

詩篇46:1-3   神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時的幫助。所以地雖改變，山雖搖動到海心，其中的水雖匉訇翻騰，山雖因海漲而戰抖，我們也不害怕。

在世界越來越動盪的今日，「災難」與「末日」的話題總被頻繁提起。有人擔心2025年7月5日會發生大地震，有人轉發預言夢、靈性解讀與陰謀論，讓原本平靜的心被懸空了。但聖經告訴我們：我們的信仰不是建立在「預言」的風聲中，而是建築在那位不動搖的「磐石」上。

敬拜永活獨一的真神，榮耀在全地彰顯，永遠不改變。
國度權柄能力歸給祂，公義慈愛顯威嚴，亙古到永遠。

神掌權到永遠，在天地之間；立晨星鋪穹蒼，劃出地平線；
降恩雨賜豐年，海不越過界；神掌權到永遠！

不要將聖經當作聖經

詩篇119:105   祢的話是我腳前的燈，是我路上的光。

提摩太後書 3:16  聖經都是神所默示的，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的， 17 叫屬神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。

在許多人的書架上，聖經被端正地擺放在最顯眼的位置，封面泛著微光，書側金邊閃閃發亮，彷彿那就是信仰的象徵與心靈的保障。然而，這本書被翻開過幾次？被讀過多少頁？被默想、被實踐、或被活出多少？

我們常笑稱某些艱深難讀、厚重無比的專業書是某專業領域的「聖經」，代表著它的權威、完整，卻也難讀、不易懂；但是，它必須被擺在最顯眼、尊貴的位置上，凸顯出我擁有它，我屬於這專業領域裡的一員，它提升了我的專業價值和地位。事實上，我可能從未讀它、懂它、用它。

而這「難讀、不易懂」的認知竟也悄悄轉移到真正的聖經上，我們尊敬它、敬畏它，卻不敢輕易打開它；我們擁有它，卻不讓它進入我們的生活。

Leviticus 24:1-4 (NIV)
1  The LORD said to Moses,
2  “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually.

On verses 1-4:   In Leviticus 24:2 God tells Moses that the lamps used to light up the tent of meeting are to “be kept burning continually” (v2).  In the same way, you and I, as followers of Jesus, are what Jesus calls “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14-16).

Atonement is God’s work, not ours

Leviticus 23:26-32 (NIV)
26  The LORD said to Moses,
27  “The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.
28  Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God.

On verses 26-32:  Verses 26-32 describe the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur in Hebrew), a day when the people remembered how God atoned for their sins so that they could be forgiven.  Why was God so strict about people not doing any work on the Day of Atonement? 

混亂中的盼望

羅馬書5:12  這就如罪是從一人入了世界，死又是從罪來的；於是死就臨到眾人，因為眾人都犯了罪。

彼得前書1:7  叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被火試驗仍然能壞的金子更顯寶貴。

約翰福音16:33  在世上你們有苦難；但你們可以放心，我已經勝了世界。

始祖犯罪後，罪進入世界，混亂隨之而來，死（隔離與絕望）就臨到世人。在人類歷史的漫漫長河中，世人被罪衍生的混亂如漩窩般的團團環繞，戰爭的硝煙、災難的陰影、社會的動盪、人間的紛爭、心靈的掙扎，歷歷在目，也多有體驗。有時混亂雖遠在天際，然隨著資訊發達，它卻繚繞耳際，讓我們身歷其境。

你不害怕嗎？憂愁的面容、無聲的嘆氣是你我無奈的回應。我們不禁問：天父祢在哪裡？祢何時掌權？

在歷世歷代的混亂中，神的手始終未曾縮短。「外邦喧嚷，列國動搖；神發聲，地便鎔化。萬軍之耶和華與我們同在；雅各的神是我們的避難所。」（詩篇46:6-7）神從不因世局混亂而失去主權，祂仍坐王掌權，引導萬事走向祂永恆的計畫。

混亂是神塑造我們、煉淨我們信心的爐火。「叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被火試驗仍然能壞的金子更顯寶貴。」（彼得前書1:7）混亂中，我們被選召成為光和鹽（馬太福音5:13-16），如歷代的信徒，引導人歸向真光，扶助人脫離混亂。

You Were Made For More Than Just Surviving

Leviticus 23:15-22 (NIV)
15  “‘From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.
16  Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.

On verses 15-22:  Leviticus 23 is basically the Israelites’ event calendar, listing out all the biggest holidays that God wanted the Israelites to celebrate during the year.  It starts with the weekly Sabbath day, meant as a day of rest (Leviticus 23:3).

神的家

提摩太前書3:14-15  這家就是永生神的教會，真理的柱石和根基。

希伯來書3:6   但基督為兒子，治理神的家。我們若將可誇的盼望和膽量堅持到底，便是祂的家了。

在聖經裡，神的家常是有形的建築體，如：會幕、聖殿、會堂、或是現代的教會，更重要的是，神的家不僅是指神的居所，更是指那居所中屬神的群體，神的家是神的百姓共同屬靈的家。

大衛描述他對神的家的渴慕，說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，祢的居所何等可愛！我羨慕渴想耶和華的院宇，我的心腸、我的肉體向永生神呼籲。」（詩篇84:1-2）神的家是信徒心靈的歸屬，是渴望親近神、敬拜神之處。

神是愛，家中有愛，神的家就是愛的居所，在這裡，信徒彼此相顧，彼此扶持。正如耶穌所說：「你們若有彼此相愛的心，眾人因此就認出你們是我的門徒了。」（約翰福音13:35）

神的家也是真理的柱石和根基。使徒保羅提到他指望快到提摩太那裡去，那裡是神的家，「這家就是永生神的教會，真理的柱石和根基。」（提摩太前書3:14-15）

眼光

詩篇31:7-8    我要為祢的慈愛高興歡喜；因為祢見過我的困苦，知道我心中的艱難。祢未曾把我交在仇敵手裡；祢使我的腳站在寬闊之處。

我第一次提出院內研究計畫，是在接到副座電話後，為了協助醫院順利通過評鑑，答應他兩週內把它生出來。正式開始執行計畫時，我找了相關單位去諮詢計畫內容和統計分析，兩位教授的不同反應，讓我有深刻的體會。

先說第二位教授B，我一去就先被質疑我不是醫師、不會寫論文，接著他針對我提出的主題表示這項研究沒有意義，不值得探討。這位教授嘆了一口氣，就結束了諮詢，我心想我付一小時諮詢費，還有20分鐘沒用完呢！走到樓梯間，一陣委屈湧上心頭，但真的感謝主，我前一天有先諮詢另一位教授A。

這位教授A知道評鑑要求下我需要完成的任務，他認真聽完我的簡報，他說了很多，但我只記得他說，不要害怕做不出結果。諮詢結束我要付費時，他表示為了幫助像我一樣的研究新手，非醫師的人首次諮詢是免費的。後續幾次諮詢中，教授看得出我的統計基礎是真的差，因此鼓勵我有空就去旁聽他的課。

Leviticus 23:1-8 (NIV)

1  The LORD said to Moses,
2  “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.

On verses 1-8:  When you read in Leviticus 23 of all the various feasts that God told the Israelites to observe, let it be a reminder that God loves to party.  Notice that in Leviticus 23 God doesn’t tell the people to stop and complain about everything that’s wrong with their life or wrong with the world.
