90岁新冠肺炎患者19天后得医治 伍德老奶奶：我不孤单，因为祂与我同在
在这次新冠病毒（COVID-19）全球流行之前，各国的疾管单位已将年长者，与一些慢性疾病患者列为高危险群，养护机构也断然采取全封闭式管理措施。
根据美国媒体福克斯 Q13（Q13 FOX）报导，位于华盛顿科克兰市的生命护理中心（Life Care Center）近日被罚款61万美元，在美国CDC所发表的报告中指出，该护理中心与37例因新冠病毒导致的死亡案例有直接关联。目前在该护理中心内的接受护理者及员工，已有三分之二被感染。
在该护理中心的确诊患者中有位年龄90岁长者近日受到众多媒体的关注。根据CBN报导，90岁的日内瓦．伍德老奶奶（Geneva Wood）在去年（2019）冬天之前，因为中风后住进该护理中心疗养，经过几个月的恢复后，预定在三月返回自己的家，但是却没有想到，就在她要离开的前几天，该中心因发生新冠病毒院内感染而导致全面封闭。
该中心在2月底封闭，三天后，伍德老奶奶开始严重发烧，她回忆说，在我还在发烧之前，完全没有其他的不适症状。伍德老奶奶经医疗单位确诊罹患新冠肺炎，并紧急转送至医院治疗。伍德老奶奶在丈夫过世后，多年来虽自己生活，但她把神视为不可或缺的生命伴侣。她说，在住院接受治疗的一个夜里，她心想自己不知道能否度过今晚，就在那时，她感觉上帝来到她的身边，并将手放在她的身上。这时，伍德老奶奶内心涌现了无比的平安，她知道自己的生命能够存留下来；那一晚她清楚的知道上帝与她同在，虽然她不能看见上帝荣耀的面容，但她深深感受神的手正在触摸著自己，神帮助她有力量继续与疾病奋战到底。
伍德老奶奶感恩的说，「如果不是这么确定上帝就在我身边、祂的手在我身上，我根本无法坚持下来。我并不孤单，因为上帝一直与我同在。」伍德老奶奶也回忆，在医院有一位很特别的医生，这位医生送了她一本圣经，并且每天都会安排一段时间来看她，诵读她最喜欢的经文——诗篇23篇。
伍德老奶奶经过19天的治疗后顺利康复出院，伍德老奶奶的亲友们把她的复原视作「神蹟」。许多的媒体详尽报导了90岁伍德老奶奶与新冠病毒奋战19天的事蹟，希望借着她对家人的热爱和勇敢的精神，能够鼓励为新冠病毒侵袭的烦忧人们。伍德老奶奶在接受媒体的访问中，毫不讳言的指出，在这段康复的过程中，信仰是最重要的部分，她向来访者解释，如果不是因为对上帝的信仰及家人们的祷告，以及教会的支持，靠着自己实在无法办到；完全是信仰和祷告，使她通过这次新冠病毒的考验。
伍德老奶奶知道现在人们正面对新冠病毒的袭击，她鼓励正在与病毒作战的人们：「不要放弃希望！上帝一直都在，请相信祂、要全然倚靠祂，并把自己的生命献给祂。你可以做到的，但你必须不要放弃希望，继续战斗坚持到底。」
‘I Was Never Alone… He Was With Me All the Time’

A suburban nursing home in Kirkland, Washington made headlines as the center of the country’s first deadly outbreak of COVID-19. Since the first positive test at the Life Care Center on February 28, the virus has spread to nearly two-thirds of its population.
Geneva Wood spent much of the winter there, recovering from a stroke. Just days before she was supposed to go home, COVID-19 put the facility on lockdown. Three days later, Wood experienced a spiking fever.
“I didn’t know that I had the virus until I had the virus. I had no symptoms of it before,” Wood told CBN News.
While other news outlets have talked about the 90-year-old’s love for her family, spunky spirit and the amazing fight she put up, Wood says it’s her faith that is actually the most important part of the story.
“If it hadn’t have been for my faith in God and my family and their prayers and all their families and the church and everything…the faith and prayers pulled me through,” Wood explained.
Largely kept in isolation, she says God was her only companion. Wood specifically remembers one night when she wasn’t sure if she would survive until morning.
“I could feel God’s presence. His hands were on my body and I could feel His presence and I’d wake up and I could feel these hands and I’d go back to sleep. Through the night, ’cause I’d wake up, I couldn’t see His face, but I could feel His hands and I knew He was with me and I made it through the night,” Wood remembers.
“Until you’ve felt God’s presence and his hands on you, it’s something else. If it hadn’t have been for Him, I couldn’t have done it. And I wasn’t alone because He was with me all the time,” she continued.
Wood also remembers one special doctor. He brought her a Bible and spent time each day reading her favorite scriptures.
“At first all I said was Psalm 23, but he would read to me every morning,” she said.
Wood’s family calls her recovery “miraculous.” Nineteen days after entering the hospital, she was sent home, coronavirus free. Now she has some advice for everyone else battling the virus.
“Don’t give up hope. God is always there and put your trust in Him and lean on Him and give your life to Him. And you’ll make it, but you’ve got to not give up hope and fight.”
