耶稣在耶路撒冷_法利赛人用淫妇质难耶稣

约翰福音八章7节  耶稣对他们说:「你们中间谁是没有罪的,谁就可以先拿石头打她。」

当文士和法利赛人带着一个行淫时被拿的妇人来时,想要给耶稣一个难题。若是耶稣说打死这个女人,那么耶稣的教导就会失去权柄,因为耶稣教导饶恕和爱;耶稣若说不必打死,则与律法有违。

耶稣弯著腰,用指头在地上画字时,有一位画家画出了耶稣心中的愤怒。祂的眼睛在冒火。律法上明明规定,犯奸淫要两个人一起抓,一个人能犯奸淫吗?但是这些知法犯法的文士和法利赛人行如此不公义之事,却沾沾自喜,以为可以难倒耶稣?再一次这些人印证耶稣的话:「摩西岂不是传律法给你们吗?你们却没有一个人守律法」,没有一个人守律法,只是把律法当成整人的工具,陷害耶稣的工具。

耶稣不让愤怒的情绪主宰祂,处理事情靠愤怒是没有用的。耶稣用指头在地上写字,没有人知道祂在写什么,不过那是一个稳住自己的好方法。我们在生气时也当学耶稣,不要讲话,让圣灵对我们讲话,给我们话语和处理事情的智慧。

当耶稣回答:「你们中间谁是没有罪的,谁就可以先拿石头打他。」犹太人对罪十分敏感,因为他们经常要去圣殿献祭,要认罪赎罪。圣经上说:「他们听见这话,就从老到少,一个一个的都出去了」,为何是从老到少,而不是从少到老呢?因为越老的人罪越多,总有一些亏心事、后悔的事在心里。

3 Harmful Tendencies That Can Derail Your Destiny

2 Peter 2:10-12 (NIV) 
10  This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings; 
11  yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord. 
12  But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
 
On verses 10-12:  In addition to the characteristics of false teachers that we looked at in verse 1-9, the false teachers of Peter’s day had three other harmful tendencies.  First, the false teachers had a tendency to “despise authority” (v10).  They would show no respect for the spiritual authorities that God had placed over them.  “Bold and arrogant”, these false teachers had no qualms about speaking disrespectfully and slanderously about the spiritual authorities around them, including angels. 

耶稣在耶路撒冷_过住棚节(下)

约翰福音七章38节    信我的人就如经上所说,从他腹中要流出活水的江河来。

住棚节共有七天,但是在耶稣的时代增加了一天,也就是第八天,在这天里有一个结束的“圣会”(利23:36),也是“严肃会”。严肃会的用意在于洁净生命中的污秽。住棚节的最后一天,也是犹太人全年所有节期的最后一天,是一个非常隆重的时刻。按照当时的习俗,在住棚节期间,祭司每天要拿金壶到西罗亚池取水,再将水倒入圣殿祭坛旁有孔的银盆中,让水由银盆的孔口流出,并朗诵有关活水的经文(例如:赛12:3;亚14:8;结47:1)。
  
借此浇奠的仪式来记念摩西曾击打磐石,使流出水来解以色列民的干渴,也盼望弥赛亚能早日来临,解决他们被异族统治,不得自由的干渴。在住棚节的最后一天,人们拿着棕树枝和柳条环绕圣殿而行;祭司要拿着金壶到西罗亚池取水,经过水门带回来,宣读《以赛亚书》12章3节:“所以,你们必从救恩的泉源欢然取水。”颂读后,祭司把水带到殿里,倾倒在祭坛上,作为给神的献祭。然后,大家一起欢唱“你们要称谢耶和华,因祂本为善;祂的慈爱永远长存!”(诗118:1),此时崇拜者欢呼并向祭坛摇动手上的棕树枝。

可以想像,在这样重要的时刻里,耶稣站出来高声说:“人若渴了,可以到我这里来喝。信我的人就如经上所说:‘从他腹中要流出活水的江河来。’”时,众人是何等地惊奇。众人再一次因耶稣起了分歧,有的人相信耶稣,认为祂就是基督,就是弥赛亚;也有人因着耶稣在世上的背景而看轻祂;更有人像法利赛人一样,觉得自己的学问很了不起,不可能被迷惑。他们不但不信,还咒诅那些相信的百姓。因此耶稣说,“人若不回转,变成小孩子的样式,断不得进天国。”我们常常因为有一点学问、金钱、资历、经验,就看不起别人,不能按著本相去观察,做合理的判断。我们心里的光,被世界的标准遮掩了。

What False Teaching Looks Like and Its Dangers

Today’s passage is 2 Peter 2:1-9.  Let’s go!

2 Peter 2:1-3 (NIV) 
1  But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them–bringing swift destruction on themselves.
2  Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
3  In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

On verses 1-3:  False teaching has been around as long as the garden of Eden when the serpent Satan duped Adam and Eve into believing something that was contradictory to what God said (Genesis 3:4).  Just as there were false prophets among the real prophets in the Old Testament (v1a), just as there were false teachers among the early church (v1b), so there are false teachers today.  How do you know if you have encountered a false teacher?  Here we see some defining traits of false teachers:

The Most Important Key to Successful Living

2 Peter 1:12-15 (NIV) 
12  So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.
13  I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body,
14  because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
15  And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.

On verses 12-15:  Why is Peter so set on reminding his readers about these things?  Is it because he has nothing new to say?  No, it’s because in Peter’s mind there is nothing more important for him to do at this late stage of his life than to remind Christians that God’s divine power has given us everything we need for life (v3), that trusting in God’s divine promises is the key to experiencing God’s power and living out God’s destiny for our lives (v4), and that being an effective, fruitful Christian is not just about having faith but about being intentional about growing in Christ-like character (v5-11).

约翰福音7:28-29   那时,耶稣在殿里教训人,大声说:「你们也知道我,也知道我从哪里来。我来并不是由于自己,但那差我来的是真的,你们不认识祂。我却认识祂,因为我是从祂来的,祂也是差了我来。」

旷野里,吃吗哪的经验,一旦进入迦南地就终止了;耶稣在人世的时候,也有一定的时间;圣灵来了,耶稣就回到天上了。有许多事,都是有时限的。例如,童年,一去不回头;美好的友谊也不一定长驻;父母与子女都不能长聚,夫妻亦然。时间像一道河流,载着历史和时光不断地往前流,若我们不懂得珍惜眼前,不把握机会善待身边的人,就会留下重重的后悔。

住棚节,是为了让以色列人记念出埃及,在旷野中的四十年。神说:“ 我如鹰将你们背在翅膀上,带来归我。” 如鹰将你们背在翅膀上,表明神带领他们避过地上的灾难,让他们很顺利地到达应许之地,神是有大能力的神。事实上也是如此,但是因为以色列人的小信,才被惩罚多走了旷野卅八年。神说:“我领你们在旷野四十年,你们身上的衣服并没有穿破,脚上的鞋也没有穿坏。”神是供应、眷顾,满有慈爱的神,两三百万人的衣服和鞋子,祂都一一记挂于心。

住棚节,就是想让以色列人因为与这样的神有了约,而一连七天在祂面前欢乐。但是在这个住棚节里,耶路撒冷的气氛并不像神所要求的,人人充满欢乐过节;相反地,有许多人因为耶稣而意论纷纷,更有人心起杀机。当耶稣公然出现在圣殿教导时,许多人因为祂的大胆而吃惊:“这不是他们想要杀的人吗?你看他还明明的讲道”。这些人当中也有读过摩西五经的,他们认为:“我们知道这个人从那里来;只是基督来的时候,没有人知道他从那里来。”

耶稣在耶路撒冷_过住棚节(上)

约翰福音七章16节    耶稣说:「我的教训不是我自己的,乃是那差我来者的。」

耶稣以五饼二鱼喂饱五千人是在靠近逾越节的时候;此时已近“住棚节”,这期间相隔了大半年。“住棚节”是犹太人的三大节期之一,是从犹太历7月15日开始(相当于西历九、十月间),一连七天,庆祝收割季节结束,并感谢神厚赐一年的丰收;同时记念以色列人出埃及,在旷野飘流四十年蒙神眷顾的经历。百姓们都上耶路撒冷过节,居住在临时用树枝搭成的棚或帐蓬里。这节是神惟一特别指定要在神面前欢乐的节日(利 23:40)。

“住棚节”是在“赎罪日”后第五天开始,从每年一度最严肃的节日转为最欢乐的节日,代表神饶恕了以色列人的一切罪孽之后,便可以享受从神来的欢乐。因为一个心里有罪孽的人,不可能享有从神来的真正喜乐。耶稣的弟弟们叫耶稣“上犹太”去,因为耶路撒冷的地势比其他地方高,因此《诗篇》里也有〈上行之诗〉,是诗人去耶路撒冷时,一路往上走,一路赞美神的诗歌。

再一次,我们看到耶稣也有和我们一样的问题,连祂的家人都不信祂。因此以嘲笑的方式,说:“人要显扬名声,没有在暗处行事的”。耶稣的弟弟们和祂一起生活多年,都无法接受祂是弥赛亚的事实,因此我们的信仰不被家人认同,也就不足为奇,不用太难过。一直到耶稣复活之后,祂的弟弟们才有了很大的转变,雅各成为教会的柱石,犹大也写下了《犹大书》。正如耶稣所言:“我的时候还没有到”,凡事都有定时,耶稣不着急,我们也不用着急。时候到了,圣灵自然动工。

God’s Power Gives You Everything You Need

Today’s passage is 2 Peter 1:1-11.  It is one of my favourite passage in all the Bible and is packed with powerful truths.  Let’s walk through it together.

2 Peter 1:1a (NIV) 
1  Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ…
 
On verse 1a:  There is much to be learned from the way Peter identifies himself.  Notice that Peter calls himself both “a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ”.  In the other words, Peter had both humility and authority.  What can we learn from this?  The best leaders walk with both humility and authority.  As children of God, always remember that we have been given authority to represent God, to speak on His behalf, and to pray in His name.  That is great authority. At the same time, let’s carry that authority with humility, knowing that we are given that authority not because we earned it but because of God’s grace.

耶稣在犹大地Judea

约翰福音三章30节   祂必兴旺,我必衰微。

犹大地是指什么地方,大家有印象吗?其实我们己经讲了不少在犹大地的城巿,只是这一件事也发生在犹大地,却没有说明是什么地方,所以我们藉这个机会来看看犹大地是什么地方。

自从所罗门王年老时转去拜偶像,神就定意从他手中拿走十个支派,赐给耶罗波安做以色列十个支派的王,只留给所罗门的儿子罗波安一个支派,犹大支派,所以南国的地就称为犹大地,因为以犹大支派为主。当然,利未支派也留在耶路撒冷,因为圣殿在耶路撒冷,而且耶罗波安转去拜金牛犊,不准利未人敬拜耶和华神。后来其他支派里有些人因为信仰的缘故也来归附犹大南国。

所以, 犹大地就是南国犹大国的领土。从地理上来讲,也可以说是迦南地从伯特利以南的地方,都称为犹大地。例如伯利恒,耶路撒冷,希伯仑,别示巴,等等有名的城巿都在犹大地。犹大地包括有五部份:即是犹大旷野、犹大山地、高原(示非拉)、非利士地和南地。约旦河也流贯其中,直到死海。

与尼哥底母夜谈之后,耶稣和门徒到了犹大地的某个地方居住,耶稣让门徒为人施洗。施洗约翰也在靠近撒冷的哀嫩施洗,因为都靠近约旦河。约翰的门徒听到风声,就去告诉约翰::「拉比,从前同你在约旦河外、你所见证的那位,现在施洗,众人都往他那里去了。」
